Regional Sales Director

Great Southern Equipment LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Fort Myers, FL area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities- Administer sales processes for reporting sales staff, ensuring seamless execution and maximum productivity.
- Develop industry knowledge and customer relationships to effectively onboard new staff and drive sales growth.
- Ride with sales staff to gain a deeper understanding of customers and territories, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Forecast sales performance to inform accurate quarterly ordering and drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date on retail financing and finance programs, ensuring a clear understanding of market trends and opportunities.
- Travel regularly to attend national industry events and manufacturer meetings, staying informed on industry developments and best practices.
- Conduct regular ride-a-longs with TSMs throughout the assigned territory, providing coaching and guidance to ensure sales success.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, managing national accounts and driving sales growth in your assigned region.
- Oversee quotes and ensure timely delivery to customers, supporting the Sales Support and Rental Department as needed.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and setting goals for incoming TSMs, ensuring a strong sales team and driving business growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Service Department to address customer issues and reconcile outstanding work orders, ensuring seamless customer service and support.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet General Liability driving requirements to operate a company vehicle when necessary.
- Willingness to travel regularly with little notice, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Physical ability to climb on and operate heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of equipment products and industry trends.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Equipment Sales Leadership/Management role, with a proven track record of sales growth and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google platform, with experience using CRM and logistics software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Ability to function in a team environment, working collaboratively with other groups to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
