Position Overview: RN Charge Med Surg Full Time Nights

This role involves overseeing operations and activities within a specific department. The position is accountable for managing a clinical unit and coordinating the scheduling of nursing staff. You will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and administrative personnel. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet regulatory standards and will play a crucial role in training and mentoring team members.

Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are vital. The capacity to implement changes effectively and manage departmental budgets is required. The ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements: A Nursing Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least two years of supervisory experience. Certification in a specialized area of practice is preferred.
  • Required Certifications: Candidates must possess ACLS certification upon completion of orientation.
