Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our Med Surg team at Abrazo West Campus. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating the functions and activities of our department, ensuring seamless patient care and exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling efforts for the Med Surg unit, ensuring efficient staffing and resource allocation.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration.
- Develop and implement plans and processes to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Train and mentor staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
- BSN preferred.
- Management experience with two years of supervisory experience.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
