POSITION: Quality Control Technician
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting monitoring, sampling, and testing of food items to verify adherence to quality benchmarks and client requirements.
- Overseeing sanitation processes, including preoperational assessments, swabbing, and effectively communicating necessary corrective measures to production staff.
- Collaborating with production teams and supervisors regarding daily operations.
- Engaging with customers and consumers to address concerns; analyzing and reporting issues to management with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Performing quarterly investigations, trending, and analysis of complaints.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in computer usage and organizational skills; familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Job duties involve walking, kneeling, lifting, climbing, bending, stacking, twisting, pulling, pushing, sitting, squatting, and standing.
- Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs of materials with assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Standard shifts are 8 hours, 5 days a week.
- Availability for overtime work may be required.
