About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in marketing communications, proofreading, and campaign execution; someone who has a background in creative review for both marketing promotions and service messages; and possesses a strong attention to detail, decision-making abilities, and a track record of meeting deliverable expectations and deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include crafting and developing communications, reviewing and approving marketing materials; ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and branding standards; maintaining checklists and documentation within systems; managing audit requests for marketing, and supporting additional projects as directed by leadership.

This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory standards while aiding in the achievement of growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
Generate new marketing and operational/service communications to align with business goals.

Review marketing assets (across various channels - such as online, email) to confirm that copy and offers comply with legal, regulatory, branding guidelines, and policies.

Communicate errors, rationale, required actions, approvals, exceptions, and status updates to Marketing Managers.
Maintain project status and necessary documentation in the project database.
Oversee content review and stakeholder approval processes, including internal and external stakeholders, within established deadlines and benchmarks.
Identify and resolve outstanding issues promptly and effectively.
Adhere to policies and departmental best practices to ensure communications are accurate and compliant with policies.

Work independently and collaboratively, taking the initiative to support other corporate projects and ensure workload and productivity align with capacity expectations.

Act as the primary contact for marketing audits.
Assist with other corporate projects and initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:


A College Degree from an accredited institution (Business, Marketing preferred) or 3-7 years of professional experience in lieu of a college degree is required.

3+ years in a regulated industry (e.g., banking, automotive, insurance, medical) with a background in marketing or advertising, campaign execution, compliance/QA content review, and/or relationship management skills.

Strong affinity for structure and adherence to compliance and legal guidelines.
Ability to remain flexible and responsive when managing multiple urgent requests and shifting priorities.
Exceptional writing skills related to communications (both service/operational and marketing/advertising communications);

NOTE:
writing samples will be requested as part of the interview process for this role.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDF Writer, and Excel is required.
Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. Ability to deliver high-quality work.
Ability to interpret information and make decisions regarding guideline applicability.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate errors, rationale, and necessary actions.
Project management experience with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic marketing-related design skills are a plus.
