Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundry Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily office clerical tasks, including filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering Phones and Taking Messages

You will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, answering phone calls and taking messages in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintaining Indexes and Files

You will be responsible for maintaining moderately complex indexes and files, ensuring that all documents are accurately and efficiently stored and retrieved.

Typing Correspondence and Reports

You will be responsible for typing correspondence, reports, and other materials as required, ensuring that all documents are accurate and well-written.

Operating Office Equipment

You will be responsible for operating office equipment, including adding machines, calculators, telex terminals, copy machines, and other similar equipment.

Communicating with Computers

You will be responsible for communicating with computers through terminals for information retrieval and data entry.

Performing Other Duties

You will be responsible for performing other duties as assigned, including assisting with special projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent certification, as well as working knowledge of business English, good grammar and spelling skills, and the ability to develop correspondence, reports, and operational directives. You must also have a proven history of exercising discretion and retaining confidentiality.
