Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all financial activities, ensuring our financial strategies align with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall goals.
  • Supervise and manage the finance team to ensure all financial tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control processes.
  • Perform regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the board of directors and other company executives.
  • Manage company's cash flow and forecasting. Direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation, ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Oversee complex accounting functions, including inventory and cost accounting.
  • Manage and oversee the entire budgeting process, including the development, planning, and execution of the company's budget.
  • Handle grant accounting, ensuring all grants are managed according to company and grantor requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of risk management.
  • Experience with grant accounting and budgeting processes.
  • Proven experience overseeing audits and managing complex accounting functions.
