Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Groundworks New Mexico's visionary leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of organizational operations, including program development, fundraising, financial management, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organizational growth and success.
  2. Lead and manage a team of staff and contractors to achieve program goals and objectives.
  3. Monitor and evaluate fiscal processes, resource development, and grants administration.
  4. Facilitate opportunities for program growth and development, and provide technical assistance to the Board of Directors.
  5. Ensure all work is performed in faithful conformance to Biblical values, the social teaching of the Catholic Church, and the Code of Canon Law.

Requirements:

A Master's degree in social work, human services, public administration, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years of organizational leadership experience is required, preferably in a nonprofit, social services, or related field. Experience working with a board of directors is a must, and familiarity with Catholic social teaching and the multicultural community of New Mexico is highly desirable.
