Position Overview

Locust Street Group is in search of an Executive Vice President to spearhead our Hispanic Engagement initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand's presence and reputation within the Hispanic community, leveraging a deep understanding of multicultural dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic direction of the Hispanic Engagement Practice, collaborating with leadership to enhance service offerings.
  • Utilize extensive professional networks to promote Locust Street Group and expand our Hispanic Engagement clientele.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive Hispanic engagement strategies that elevate visibility among Spanish-language media, both domestically and internationally.
  • Analyze and address issues pertinent to the U.S. Hispanic community, tailoring messaging and campaigns to resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Monitor cultural trends and policy changes affecting Hispanic audiences, ensuring our strategies remain relevant and impactful.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, guiding them in their efforts to connect with Hispanic demographics through effective engagement strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality communication materials, including messaging documents, press releases, and social media content.
  • Lead a team of bilingual and multicultural professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring the successful delivery of client projects.
  • Develop innovative concepts and strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement among Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Manage integrated public affairs and communication campaigns, ensuring seamless execution across various client accounts.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or campaign management for Vice President candidates.
  • 12-15 years of experience for Senior Vice President candidates.
  • Native fluency in Spanish with the ability to adapt communication styles to diverse cultural contexts.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing Hispanic engagement strategies.
  • Strong capability to provide counsel to senior executives in various communication settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment, fostering professional development and motivation.
  • Track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Compensation

Salary range: $135k-$250k.
