About the Role
The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President for Public Policy Engagement to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Public Policy Engagement
- Develop and execute a comprehensive public policy engagement strategy to advance the organization's interests and goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy groups.
- Represent the organization in meetings with policymakers and other stakeholders.
- Government Relations
- Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and their staff to advance the organization's interests and goals.
- Monitor and analyze government policies and regulations that impact the organization's mission and goals.
- Provide strategic advice to the organization's leadership on government relations and public policy matters.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and advance the organization's interests and goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination on public policy and government relations matters.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of public policy and government relations, including experience working with policymakers and advocacy groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and communications.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective solutions.

Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
