About the Role

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President for Public Policy Engagement to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Policy Engagement
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive public policy engagement strategy to advance the organization's interests and goals.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy groups.
    • Represent the organization in meetings with policymakers and other stakeholders.
  • Government Relations
    • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and their staff to advance the organization's interests and goals.
    • Monitor and analyze government policies and regulations that impact the organization's mission and goals.
    • Provide strategic advice to the organization's leadership on government relations and public policy matters.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and advance the organization's interests and goals.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination on public policy and government relations matters.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of public policy and government relations, including experience working with policymakers and advocacy groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and communications.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and advocacy groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
