Job Overview

Focused Staffing is seeking a highly skilled English Teacher to join our team. As an integral part of our educational institution, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and delivering captivating instruction to high school students (grades 9-12).

Key Responsibilities

Parent Communication:

  • Collaborate with parents to support student success and address any challenges that may arise.
Professional Development:
  • Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in education.
  • Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Extracurricular Involvement:
  • Participate in extracurricular activities enriching students' experiences and furthering their passion for learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of teaching experience in a high-need, high-performing school
  • Familiarity with Danielson's Framework
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
