Role Overview

As the Senior Compliance Risk Strategist, you will take charge of strategic initiatives aimed at assessing and mitigating risks associated with Amazon Selling Partners and the global network of associates within Selling Partner Operations. Your primary focus will be to lead program objectives for the Compliance Monitoring Programs (CMP) team, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for our selling partners through continuous compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable and scalable auditing processes to support both existing and new audits.
  • Drive automation and workflow enhancements in collaboration with data, technology, and program teams across the Quality Organization and Selling Partner Operations.
  • Establish metrics, reporting frameworks, and process excellence indicators to effectively achieve goals in core operations.
  • Identify and recommend tools and system enhancements that minimize operational defects, prioritizing process excellence initiatives based on impact and benefits.
  • Lead the strategy and development of the Associate Behavioral Compliance program, focusing on identifying, assessing, and addressing conduct-related risks among associates.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to pinpoint critical issues affecting Selling Partner experiences from an associate behavior standpoint.

About the Team

The Selling Partner Operations team is committed to delivering exceptional support and fostering loyalty among Amazon's vast network of selling partners. Our mission is to empower these partners as we enhance their support experience. The Compliance Monitoring Program team within Selling Partner Operations is dedicated to ensuring a consistent, safe, and supportive environment for Selling Partners through ongoing monitoring and auditing of our Outsource Partners and the overall associate population.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs.
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in leveraging technology and applying lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in high-volume support operations.
