GCM Client Relations Associate

Overview:
Assists in the facilitation of new business initiatives and marketing outputs for the designated segment of Global Capital Markets (GCM).
Key Responsibilities:
Support Client Development Officers (CDOs) in the new business workflow, including managing contacts, reviewing processes, and organizing new business documentation related to GCM clientele.
Provide administrative assistance to CDOs and the Unit Manager, which includes processing travel and entertainment (T&E) expenses, inputting data into systems, arranging travel itineraries, and handling ad-hoc tasks.
Participate in conferences and events to support the CDO and administrative teams as required.Comprehend and comply with the organization's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in alignment with the company's Risk Appetite.
Recognize risk-related concerns that require escalation to management.Foster an inclusive environment that champions diversity and embodies the Wilmington Trust brand.
Uphold internal control standards, ensuring timely execution of internal and external audit recommendations along with any issues raised by external regulators as necessary.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned.Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree, or alternatively, a combined minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience. Exceptional presentation skills. Proficient in the use of personal computers and relevant software applications, including MS Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Capability to swiftly acquire knowledge of GCM Products and Services and effectively prioritize tasks. Experience in business or financial services. Wilmington Trust is dedicated to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation for our employees.
