The Staff Services Manager II within the Behavioral Health Grants Section is tasked with overseeing personnel management and coordinating various funding initiatives related to the State's Naloxone Distribution Project and medication-assisted treatment expansion projects. This role is essential in managing the Crisis Counseling and Assistance Training Program, which addresses the needs arising from both natural and man-made disasters.

Key Duties Include:

  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring grant funding and programs.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for opioid-related activities and emergency grant oversight.
  • Supervising two specialized units: Contracts and Policy Unit, and Disaster Response Unit.
  • Collaborating with state departments, federal agencies, and community stakeholders.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary, estimated at 5% of the time.
