Job Title: Information Technology Supervisor II

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I in the Offender Management product line, the Information Technology Supervisor II (IT Sup II) will be responsible for managing a high-performing team producing Progressive Web Applications using Vue.JS, Vuetify, and Feathers while maintaining and supporting a portfolio of COTS and legacy applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of IT professionals to design, develop, and implement software applications.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, security, and testing.
  • Collaborate with vendors and various CDCR Division Program staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles, project management principles, and Agile and Waterfall methodology.
  • Experience with Vue.JS, Vuetify, and Feathers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:

This position is located in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County.

This position exists in our Rancho Cordova offices on the highway 50 corridor, near the Folsom Auto Mall and the Folsom Premium Outlets.
