As a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator at GEODIS, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless movement of goods worldwide. You will serve as a source of information and guidance to Accounts Payable Coordinators, providing support as needed and managing complex and escalated inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to AP Coordinators on accounts payable processes and procedures
- Manage and resolve complex and escalated AP inquiries
- Assist with training and development of AP Coordinators
- Interact with vendors and systems to troubleshoot invoice issues and seek direct resolution
- Prepare and process accounts payable checks and electronic payments
- Research and resolve AP-related questions from vendors, operations personnel, and others
- Document and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures
- Electronically file and maintain paid AP invoices
- Reconcile vendor accounts and reporting for audit purposes
- Responsible for travel and entertainment expense auditing in P2P software
- Assist in creating and coordinating AP Coordinator KPIs reporting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of accounts payable software, procure to pay software, and/or logistics or TMS software
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; intermediate Excel skills required
- Prior experience training others preferred
