About the Role

HireLevel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Princeton, IN. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-15 team members and overseeing logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 5-15 team members and ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Supervise logistics operations, including receiving, inspecting, and shipping products.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and quality standards.
  • Focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of activities and employees' performance.
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
  • Maintain records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
  • Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear team goals and oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching to employees.
  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Ensure the safety of team members assigned to your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure defects are within company standards and all other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure all team members are following posted work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area following 5S principles.
Requirements
  • Must pass a drug screen and Nationwide background check.
  • Fork truck experience preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work any schedule, including potential daily overtime and some weekends.
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable).
  • Ability to follow written work instructions.
