Receptionist Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Descanso Home Health Services. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming calls, and ensuring seamless communication with our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Call Management: Operate a multi-line phone system, screen incoming calls, and route them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Message Taking: Take detailed messages when a call cannot be completed, including caller's name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous, and empathetic service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, complete daily tasks on the front office checklist, and ensure all necessary documents are processed in a timely manner.
- Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience working in a home health office or similar setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in office skills, including typing and computer skills, professional dialogue, and excellent customer service skills.
