Job Summary

The Architectural Business Development Representative is a key role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the Western PA market. As a representative, you will be responsible for promoting Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's product line to architects and project stakeholders, building strong relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic calls and appointments with architects, developers, and consultants to promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope's products
  • Build a pipeline of projects and relationships that lead to sales
  • Promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope to architects and specification writers to become the project specification Basis of Design
  • Learn competitor products and develop strategies to successfully promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team, Territory Sales Representatives, and Strategic Account Sales Team in developing strong relationships with architects and industry influencers
  • Inform leadership of market demands and product trends
Requirements
  • Previous experience in promoting to commercial architects, strong product knowledge in storefront, window wall, curtain wall, and glass products
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications, and building integration knowledge
  • Previous sales experience and college degree preferred
  • Strong professional presence with the ability and confidence to professionally present to large groups, specifically architects and project teams
  • Estimated travel 40%
  • AutoCAD a plus
