The Willis Law Group, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our business operations, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes, and contributing to the development of our HR objectives and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience and the efficiency of the HR department and company.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR.
  • Proven success working in an HR department.
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Paycheck software (preferred).
  • Experience with different online insurance platforms.
  • Ability to communicate with the team and carriers, keeping records up to date.
  • Familiarity with HSA, FSA, COBRA, and 401k plans.
  • Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work well with team members and departments.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality required.
