About the Role

BBI Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Logistics Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with customers and carriers, and closing business deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects to identify new business opportunities
  • Execute cold calls to build relationships with prospects and existing customers, with a focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers
  • Manage freight movement and problem-solve in real-time using our proprietary TMS software
  • Proactively communicate with customers and carriers to resolve issues and provide updates

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales/cold calling experience or some sales experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sales drive
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have flexibility in schedule to work after normal business hours and weekends
  • Confident decision-making abilities
  • Strong ability to sell and negotiate
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
