About the Role
BBI Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Logistics Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with customers and carriers, and closing business deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects to identify new business opportunities
- Execute cold calls to build relationships with prospects and existing customers, with a focus on selling our logistics solution services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers
- Manage freight movement and problem-solve in real-time using our proprietary TMS software
- Proactively communicate with customers and carriers to resolve issues and provide updates
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales/cold calling experience or some sales experience preferred
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sales drive
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have flexibility in schedule to work after normal business hours and weekends
- Confident decision-making abilities
- Strong ability to sell and negotiate
- Bachelor's degree preferred
