Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will focus on customer acquisition, account management, and opportunity engagement. This position will be subject to the Pipeline Process and Industrial Services Group. The main geographic areas of responsibility will be in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles Downstream markets but may vary based on current needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a client roster
- Communicate a technical understanding of the product
- Identify client needs and provide solutions
- Organize and facilitate technical functions, such as presentations and demonstrations
- Discover potential clients through opportunity deals and partners
- Develop and manage a follow-up process on all completed projects
- Actively participate in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Maintain personal integrity through professional confidentiality
- Adhere to GATE company policies and procedures
- 5+ years of relevant service industry experience
- 3+ years of product service line specific sales experience
- Experience in the downstream market within the Gulf Coast region a plus
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
