Job Summary

Spectrum Staffing Services/HRStaffers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage all external and internal Supply Chain operations for direct and indirect materials to support Manufacturing and Customer Service performance levels and Inventory Management Objectives through the effective use of our ERP systems and management of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough material demand assessments to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee the receiving process to ensure accurate inventory tracking and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage outside processing operations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule shop floor production and manage orders effectively.
  • Implement scrap management strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain effective inventory and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure safe and efficient material handling throughout the facility, adhering to OSHA and applicable standards.
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Materials, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in high-volume Discrete ETO and BTO Manufacturing within the Medical or Automotive industries, supporting ISO 9001:2008; ISO/TS 16949; ISO 13485; ISO 14001.
  • Expert-level user of a Tier One or Tier Two ERP System.
  • Excellent team building, conflict resolution, and delegation skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff to excel and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple levels of the organization and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a highly fluid and pressured environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office program skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering measured continuous improvement results.

Compensation: $110,000-$120,000/yr.
