Technical Project Manager Job Description

Karsun Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of multiple systems for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in translating business requirements into software architecture and working on Agile Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute the full project lifecycle from definition to close out.
  • Develop plans and schedules to meet customers' requirements.
  • Track project budgets and actual costs.
  • Provide guidance to the project team and interact with customers, product owners, and contributors.
  • Manage development projects using Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Identify cost, schedule, quality, and performance impacts.
  • Organize and prioritize team work tasks.
  • Communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience leading technical teams and serving as the primary point of contact for all technical matters.
  • 5 years of experience managing development projects and ongoing sustainment efforts.
  • Experience facilitating reviews with government customers.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional level Agile certification.
  • Knowledge or experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Ability to shift between waterfall, agile, and DevOps methodologies.

Salary Range:
$102,517 to $131,807. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience, and certifications.
