In this role, you will be the primary contact for our clients seeking underground trench safety equipment rentals and supplies. Your clientele will include contractors from various sectors, including industrial and commercial construction. Your sales drive and commitment will be essential in boosting branch revenue while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance revenue streams from construction sites within a designated territory.
  • Build and nurture relationships with current clients and their affiliates, serving as their main point of contact.
  • Provide demonstrations and training on Trench Safety products to customers.
  • Reach out to potential clients to arrange demonstrations and site visits.
  • Develop strategic sales action plans.
  • Collaborate with general rentals representatives to encourage cross-selling opportunities.
  • Conduct Competent Person Training and Confined Space Training sessions.
  • Assist in the installation of equipment and coordinate with installation teams as required.
  • Utilize Sales and CRM tools to cultivate a pipeline of potential opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and education is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience.
  • Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, organization, communication, and negotiation.
  • A keen focus on safety protocols.
  • Certification in Competent Person Training and Confined Space is required.
  • Familiarity with construction, trench safety, or related equipment is advantageous; however, candidates with comparable industry experience and a proven sales track record will be considered.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

This position offers a competitive base salary along with monthly commissions based on performance metrics.

During the onboarding process, a minimum monthly guarantee incentive will be provided.

This role is classified as Safety Sensitive according to United Rentals' policies.
