Store Operations Manager

As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a high level of productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, ensuring all systems are started up and cash handling is accurate.
Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries and completing product returns, order voids, and customer refunds.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
Assists with and coaches other team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
Responsible for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors and price verifications.
Assists manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and assists in reverse logistics.
Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper signage is displayed at the store to support accurate pricing of products.
Assists with bookkeeping activities, including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment as necessary.
Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products and responsible for bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
Requirements:
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.
