Summer Analyst Program Overview

Our Summer Analyst Program is a ten-week internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business, providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Responsibilities

The Summer Analyst will directly support Rockefeller Capital Management's Human Capital team in the full life cycle of various Human Capital projects and initiatives. The program will offer exposure across the Human Capital functions, including compensation, workforce analytics, HR information systems, strategic business partners, benefits, and HR operations.

  • Participate in and provide support for firm-wide projects involving Human Capital matters.
  • Identify opportunities to change, enhance, or streamline existing processes and systems, and assist with the implementation of those process improvements.
  • Support the generation and delivery of Human Capital analytics, metrics, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) through the evaluation of data management practices and additional functionality.
  • Engage in various initiatives to gain a broad understanding of the Human Capital teams operating model.
Qualifications
  • High school degree required.
  • Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Finance, Business is desirable.
  • Prior internship experience in asset management, wealth management, or investment banking experience a plus.
Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency across full Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Detail oriented with ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • A good team player with a proven track record of working collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Prompt follow-up and responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Possesses traits such as enthusiasm, persistence, and self-motivation.
