About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hartwig as a Manufacturing Integration Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating powerful software and hardware solutions that monitor and optimize CNC machine tool performance for leading manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customers to install, configure, test, and troubleshoot XMC software solutions and Caron Engineering machine hardware optimization products
  • Train customers on the use of our products and solutions
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing outstanding customer service and demonstrating technical mastery of our solutions
  • Increase technical proficiency with all XMC machine analytics software products and machine tool optimization products from Caron Engineering
  • Schedule and prepare for upcoming product installations
  • Consult with other team members, internal departments, and external vendors to resolve issues related to installation and support of our products
  • Document project information and complete reports as required for work records
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of products and software
  • Comply with Hartwig and customer site safety standards
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent work experience in manufacturing environments
  • CNC machine operation, service, or CNC programming experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows, PC networking, and installation of PC software and hardware
  • Proficient with MS Office apps; basic database or scripting/programming skills a big plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with effective planning and organizational skills
  • Willing and able to travel (by car or plane) 50%-60% of the time
  • Manual and visual dexterity to assemble small parts and products
  • Ability to lift a 70-pound travel kit into and out of an automobile trunk
  • Extended periods of standing
  • Valid driver's license in state of primary residence required
