Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Verify, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our manufactured products. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

**Inspection and Quality Control**

  • Personally perform 1st Article, 1st Piece, In-Process and Final Inspection activities to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Coach and train Machine Operators in measurement and inspection techniques and methods to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Assist Manufacturing managers in ensuring that regular in-process inspections are being performed to maintain quality standards.

**Quality Management**

  • Help to ensure that inspection gauges and instruments are properly controlled, maintained, and calibrated, and are certified on a timely basis.
  • Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.

**Collaboration and Communication**

  • Collaborate with Machine Shop Management, Quality Audit, and other Engineering functions to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless quality control processes.

Requirements

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Minimum 10 years of practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on various commodities, including machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • Understanding of Aerospace standards, such as AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Experience using various mechanical inspection tools and performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with the AS9102 standard.
