Job Title: Staff Engineer - Product Applications

We're seeking an experienced Wave/mmWave Product Applications Engineer to provide product and system-level support to end customers in multiple markets, including cellular infrastructure and diverse industries. In this role, you'll work closely with our Design, Product, and Marketing teams to understand our technologies and products, and act as a technical expert for sales and customers on broad applications and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for customers through direct field applications, sales, and distribution sales on pre- and post-release products.
  • Communicate expert-level Wave/mmWave product and application knowledge within the company and with customers, including customer visits, datasheet and application note creations, technical trainings, and customer-specific seminars.
  • Develop technical data and information that are application-relevant, helping to shorten customers' time-to-evaluation and time-to-market.
  • Carry out in-depth analysis and bench evaluation of new products or customers' applications and design ins, applying bench analysis using Wave/mmWave knowledge and measurement techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Design, Product Engineering, and Marketing, and be involved in product development from the Advance Technology Development phase to the Product Release to Manufacturing and Sales phase.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with related work experiences in applications, design, and/or product development on Wave/mmWave products.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry or in Cellular infrastructure, Test and Instrumentations, and/or Military markets is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software programming in Python and C# is preferred.
  • Demonstrate system-level knowledge, including Zero IF and superhertodyne radio architectures, and experience with modem/radio integrations is a plus.
