Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of fire sprinkler systems.
- Install and test various types of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on sprinkler systems to ensure they meet safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to efficiently complete projects and ensure the smooth operation of sprinkler systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered during installation, maintenance, or repairs.
Requirements:
- Valid Sprinkler Fitter license.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients in their homes and businesses.
- Thoroughness in inspections and accuracy in quoting replacements or repairs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sprinkler Fitter.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
