Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a Program Manager for Inflation Reduction Act Energy Programs to oversee the effective launch and execution of IRA initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team dedicated to outreach and operational tasks related to energy programs under the Inflation Reduction Act. Your leadership will be crucial both within the organization and in external engagements, as you develop and implement strategic plans for program execution, while fostering strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the launch and execution of programs, including the creation of work plans to achieve objectives, aligning team roles, and providing precise forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of large-scale energy programs to utility clients in accordance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.
  • Identify, define, and monitor program deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Regularly evaluate project progress against goals and devise innovative solutions to emerging challenges.
  • Lead and mentor a dynamic team, establishing performance standards and objectives for team members to enhance program delivery.
  • Facilitate outreach efforts through community engagement, program presentations, and relationship development.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with subcontractors, community organizations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and communications, addressing and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to optimize program operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must reside in designated areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in energy efficiency or a related domain is necessary, with a preference for experience in Multifamily or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) programs.
  • Prior management experience, particularly in leading technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing project scopes, budgets, and plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications in energy management, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in managing energy efficiency or weatherization programs focused on multi-family units.
