Position Overview

As a Senior Technology Systems Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative technology solutions. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing systems that enhance our clients' operational efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Technology Systems Architect;
  • Design comprehensive systems for Integrated Communication and Technology (ICAT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Audio Visual, Security (ESS), Access Control, and Structured Cabling;
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Division 27 and 28 requirements for ESS, Audio Visual, ICT, and ICAT;
  • Create detailed design specifications for technology solutions;
  • Utilize tools such as Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD to develop system diagrams;
  • Partner with our Revit/CAD team to produce floor plans and elevations that illustrate device placement;
  • Assess technology equipment available in the market for design suitability;
  • Prepare written system specifications and functional narratives using Master Format templates;
  • Engage with the design team, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural consultants;
  • Lead and participate in design meetings with clients and team members;
  • Estimate budgetary implementation costs;
  • Provide construction administration support, including site reviews and reports;
  • Foster business development and maintain strong client relationships;
  • Mentor and train junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel;
  • Comfortable with remote task management software and leading remote teams;
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, including mentorship and goal-setting;
  • Familiar with agile methodologies and sprint-based team structures;
  • A four-year degree in a related field is required; industry-recognized certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, RCDD, CSP, PSP, or PMP are advantageous;
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen;
  • Experience with design markup tools like Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD is a plus;
  • Proficient in remote collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, and GoToMeeting;
  • Strong relationship-building skills;
  • Energetic, adaptable, and a problem-solver;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities with a proactive approach;
  • Experience in the Engineering, Architectural, or Construction sectors is beneficial;
  • Ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
