Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient and driven Enterprise Systems Analyst who possesses a strong emphasis on SQL development, PowerBI reporting, and technical support for financial systems. The selected candidate will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level systems that underpin our operational processes, especially in data management and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain SQL databases and associated applications.
  • Create and manage PowerBI reports and dashboards to fulfill business intelligence requirements.
  • Engage with business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers to collect requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Offer technical assistance for accounting systems, ensuring precise financial reporting.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, and integration.
  • Establish and execute best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Remain abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance systems and processes continuously.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience in PowerBI development, encompassing report creation and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics and visualization techniques.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
