Job Description

Job Title: Digital Education Resource Strategist

Job Summary:

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Education Resource Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a digital education resource strategy that aligns with our agency's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a digital education resource strategy that aligns with TEA's mission and goals.
  • Manage the operational process of designing and running the OER Repository throughout its entire product life cycle.
  • Develop and track contract and grant deliverables and budgets related to the OER Repository.
  • Engage with users and stakeholders through a range of channels to encourage take-up and use of the OER Repository.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in digital product strategy or implementation of educational technologies.
  • Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of best practices for product management and software development for digital products and network services.
  • Technical expertise and experience with learning management systems, content management systems and other education technologies.
  • Experience in developing and releasing digital products with proficiency in agile product management techniques.
