Position Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Loan Administration Support Specialist to contribute to our operations. This entry-level role requires proficiency in both Korean and English, making it suitable for individuals eager to embark on a career in loan management and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Assessment: Aid in the assessment and sanctioning of business, real estate, or credit loans, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Focus on analyzing the financial standing of loan applicants by reviewing financial documents, credit histories, and other pertinent information.
  • Record Management: Maintain and update financial and collateral records, ensuring all data is precise and up-to-date. Regularly review loan files to ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • Loan Workflow Management: Oversee the complete process of loan applications, from submission to closure. This includes gathering and organizing all necessary financial documentation for underwriting purposes.
  • Credit Evaluation: Encourage safe credit evaluation and responsible lending practices. Conduct initial assessments and underwriting of loan applications.
  • Client Engagement: Handle commercial and residential loan applications, conducting interviews with clients to collect necessary information and address any questions.
  • Documentation Handling: Execute closing procedures, including obtaining required documents from clients, verifying legal paperwork, and ensuring all documentation is thorough and accurate.
  • Additional Projects: Engage in various tasks or special projects as assigned by the team, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in Korean and English is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office applications, especially Excel, for data management and report generation.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of conducting thorough evaluations of financial documents and loan applications.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Korean and English.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in loan administration or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, credit evaluation, and responsible lending practices.
