Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:
Direct the maintenance, security, and cleaning services to guarantee a safe, hygienic, and operational environment. Organize and oversee routine and preventive maintenance activities for facilities and grounds. Manage and coordinate the efforts of external contractors and service providers.

Financial Oversight:
Develop and administer the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization. Monitor expenditures and manage the acquisition of essential equipment and supplies. Negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and cost reductions.

Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential risks. Formulate and implement emergency response strategies and safety protocols.

Space Planning:
Strategize and manage the distribution and use of space to fulfill organizational requirements. Ensure efficient space utilization through strategic planning and resource management.

Project Oversight:
Supervise renovation, refurbishment, and construction initiatives. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to guarantee timely and budget-compliant project execution.

Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of facilities personnel. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Sustainability Initiatives:
Implement and oversee sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact. Track and report on energy consumption and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or 3-5 years of experience in a Facilities Manager role or similar capacity.

Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management practices and operations. Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure. Certification in facilities management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is advantageous. Experience in project management is beneficial. Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy management is a plus.
