Position Overview:


The Surety Bond Account Executive plays a crucial role in collaborating with Surety Account Managers and the team to facilitate the execution of bid, performance, payment, and various other bonds.

This position is also responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with all surety clients and underwriters, addressing their contract and miscellaneous requirements, and acquiring up-to-date financial and relevant information for the surety organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Please note that the responsibilities outlined below may vary depending on the operational needs of your local office.


Assist the Account Manager in executing all bid, performance, payment, and miscellaneous bonds promptly, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Oversee the renewal process for all miscellaneous surety bonds and contract surety bonds.

Manage invoicing for all bonds and resolve any billing disputes. Collect premiums that remain outstanding for over 60 days.


Maintain up-to-date records related to financial year-end statements, interim statements, bank lines of credit, insurance certificates, and personal financial statements for owners.

Handle all general correspondence while fostering a positive working relationship with clients and underwriters.

Execute indemnity agreements as required.

Collaborate with Surety Account Managers to formulate company-wide surety procedures and establish effective surety policies.

Adhere to company protocols regarding all essential duties and responsibilities associated with the role.

Provide sales support as directed by the Producer, which includes assisting in marketing efforts in conjunction with all agency personnel involved in new or existing business.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Travel may be required, estimated at 10-25% for this position.

Qualifications:
Advanced degree from an accredited institution or 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Property and Casualty License.

Proficient in technology; capable of navigating multiple systems, including Agency Management Software.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Notary Public designation is preferred but not mandatory.
