Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Finance Operations Manager to enhance our finance team. This permanent position offers a unique chance to lead financial operations and refine financial processes within our dynamic, growth-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily functions of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, and utilities.
2. Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring precision and adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
3. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and manage prepaid expenses.
4. Supervise project and job cost accounting, ensuring accurate cost distribution and timely reporting.
5. Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
6. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
8. Collaborate with auditors to ensure effective monitoring of company finances.
9. Work closely with project and construction teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
10. Lead and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the finance sector.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. High proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
5. Proven ability to manage and guide teams to ensure effective financial processes.
6. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
8. Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
9. Capability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
