Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the completion of all month-end journal entries and reporting activities.
  • Prepare and document daily revenue audits.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow assessments.
  • Disseminate all financial statements and month-end reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the accounting team, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and assist in preparing and evaluating annual staff performance reviews.
  • Engage in special projects and provide coverage for the Assistant Director of Finance as needed.
  • Compile all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Review membership accounting to ensure timely posting of dues and follow-up actions.

General Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant in a guest-oriented hospitality environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting controls and financial management processes.
  • Proficient in Accounting Systems, Property Management Systems, Point of Sale systems, and Microsoft applications.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or accounting is preferred.
  • Must possess a friendly demeanor, be detail-oriented, and communicate effectively in both spoken and written English with all stakeholders.
