Job Overview

Position Summary

The Enterprise Solutions Architect is tasked with conceptualizing, articulating, and advancing the enterprise architecture of the organization. This architecture encompasses critical enterprise components, including business processes, strategic initiatives, value streams, data management, and the technologies that support them, while also considering their future evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and comprehend application, system, and solution requirements.
  • Understand the integration of various solutions across the organization and establish best practices for the seamless and secure operation of disparate systems.
  • Evaluate systems for potential efficiency improvements, inconsistencies, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Provide guidance on business architecture and system processing.
  • Ensure the alignment of Information Technology initiatives with the organization's efficiency, security, and support objectives.
  • Develop compliance architecture methodologies, including data storage solutions, metadata management, and change control processes.
  • Determine and implement strategies for build versus buy decisions, mentor team members, and align with the overarching business strategy.
  • Design and create database entity-relationship diagrams, program overall logic, and essential program classes.
  • Lead and support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing projects.
  • Develop system and user requirements for new business applications and solutions.
  • Design and develop user interfaces for Internet/intranet applications by selecting design methodologies, programming languages, and software products; conduct testing and validation.

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Proven experience in developing and designing enterprise-level software using a comprehensive development life cycle.
  • Experience with both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to produce clear and effective documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in graphics and interface design.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a global enterprise environment.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Compensation Information

New York Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000.

The actual salary offered will be contingent upon various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, relevant experience, educational background, certifications, and, if applicable, the location from which the applicant will be performing the job. This role is classified as exempt, meaning it is not eligible for overtime pay.
