Progyny is seeking a Director-level Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our Business Operations, Strategy, and Analytics (BSA) team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our reporting and forecasting capabilities, which directly impact the strategic growth of our leading fertility benefits management organization.

As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in meticulously mapping business workflows to the essential data and metrics that underpin operational excellence throughout the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of all facets of Progyny's operations, enabling you to create a coherent map of information flows and comprehend their significance to the underlying data architecture that supports our operational processes. You will collaborate with key subject matter experts across various business units to ensure the development of a streamlined and comprehensive information landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize process maps, implement them within BPM tools, and gain a thorough understanding of information flow across the organization.
  • Establish a detailed logical data model (LDM) that identifies all pertinent business entities, attributes, and metrics, along with their definitions and permissible values.
  • Forge strong partnerships with various SMEs within Progyny to ensure that any forthcoming changes are anticipated and integrated into the LDM promptly, allowing the model and data structures to evolve in alignment with business needs.
  • Adapt and enhance the structure of the data warehouse to support new strategic objectives, business models, and other changes within Progyny's data ecosystem.
  • Ensure that semantic layers are developed to facilitate future self-service capabilities, aligning closely with the business language while maintaining integrity within the data warehouse.
  • Act as a champion for best practices in data governance, serving as a visible thought leader in Progyny's data management initiatives and a trusted advisor to the executive leadership.

About You:

  • You possess over 8 years of relevant experience in roles such as systems analyst, information architect, or similar positions that bridge data and business processes.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • You have a strong command of SQL and experience with enterprise reporting platforms.
  • You are familiar with BPM or low-code automation platforms.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in identifying best practices in process modeling and can articulate the trade-offs of various modeling approaches for complex datasets.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively guide a technical audience through the rationale behind design decisions.
