Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our team specializing in Power Generation.
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will contribute significantly in the following areas:
- Performing preventative maintenance and basic repair tasks on generators or components at client locations with minimal oversight.
- Interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Utilizing specialized tools and adhering to established procedures and policies to diagnose and execute basic repairs, including the preparation of necessary parts and tools.
- Completing essential documentation, such as service reports, timesheets, and warranty claims through handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Participating in training aligned with skill development and business needs.
- Complying with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and regulations, and reporting any issues or incidents to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Comprehensive mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance skills.
- Experience with High Voltage and Low Voltage systems.
- Ability to perform electrical repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision, with hands-on experience in power generation products.
- (Entry) Technician Level I: Limited relevant technician experience; qualified to work on a limited number of products as a diesel technician; primarily involved in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics; requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary will be commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may vary by location and include options such as a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a comprehensive range of personal and professional benefits.
- A valid current license is mandatory for this role.
- This position requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
- The applicant must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
- Federal law mandates that a CDL holder must be 21 years of age or older; applicants must meet this age requirement.
