Senior Power Plant Technician:
Completion of an accredited high school program or equivalent, along with four (4) years of experience in maintenance or operations within a power generation facility or heavy industrial setting. An Associate's Degree may replace two (2) years of experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Power Plant Operations Specialist:
Completion of an accredited high school program or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in maintenance or operations within a power generation facility or heavy industrial setting. An Associate's Degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:
None.

Senior Power Plant Operations Specialist:
Completion of an accredited high school program or equivalent and eight (8) years of experience in maintenance or operations within a power generation facility or heavy industrial setting. An Associate's Degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Notes to Applicants:
This role necessitates the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate equipment issues associated with electric generating facilities, particularly in the electrical or instrumentation and control disciplines. Mastery in electrical or instrumentation and control crafts through the power production job progression program is essential. This position is critical for maintaining essential operations, and personnel in this role will be expected to report for duty during adverse weather, natural disasters, or other unexpected events that may lead to emergency closures of operations.

Physical Demands:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include: continuous outdoor activity, frequent sitting, standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting of the upper body, climbing, exposure to extreme temperatures, inclement weather, noise, mechanical hazards, fume/odor/dust hazards, electrical hazards, occasional kneeling, crawling, and the ability to carry/lift a minimum of 50 lbs, along with indoor activity.

Work Hours:
Hours for this position may vary based on operational needs and may include overtime extending beyond regular shifts and weekends.

Training Requirements:
This position requires completion of Arc Flash Safety training.

Essential Employee Designation:
This role is classified as essential. In the event of a designated emergency, essential employees provide services critical to public health, safety, utility services, and community welfare, ensuring the continuity of vital operations. During such emergencies, essential employees may be required to adjust their schedules, report to designated work sites, or remain on-site to assist with operations and recovery.
