Position Overview:

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a skilled multitasker with outstanding communication abilities and a strong commitment to customer service. This role encompasses a range of intricate administrative responsibilities supporting the Deputy Warden Associate/Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research and compiles comprehensive reports, correspondence, inquiries, and policy revisions.
  • Oversees unit budget management, including procurement and expenditure tracking.
  • Gathers data and materials for special initiatives and projects.
  • Monitors disciplinary actions and prepares final documentation.
  • Participates in meetings and contributes to discussions.
  • Coordinates fundraising events and special activities.
  • May require driving for state-related business.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Gmail.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant administrative experience reporting to a managerial or administrative role.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

To ensure a safe working environment, all employees must undergo a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their orientation and annually thereafter. Additionally, if driving is an essential function of the position, employees must possess a valid driver's license and meet all training and record check requirements.
