Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist & Office Ambassador plays a crucial role in managing local customer interactions and partner relationships. This position serves as the primary contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a welcoming environment in the Minneapolis area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive local marketing initiatives and events.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on various communications, including invitations and social media content.
  • Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate invitation distribution in partnership with the local sales team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and event venues.
  • Estimate necessary resources and participants for project success, while tracking expenses to ensure budget adherence.
  • Document all relevant campaign and event details in designated internal systems.
  • Proactively manage project scope changes, identify potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and compile reports to assess project outcomes.
  • Promote a focus on outcomes and objectives.
  • Build relationships with the local sales team and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular updates on field marketing activities to the Area Vice President and VP of Marketing.
  • Welcome visitors, clients, and employees, directing them to the appropriate contacts or meetings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all office visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of common areas, including reception and meeting rooms.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, including kitchen and conference room resources.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs as necessary.
  • Assist in organizing office events and meetings.
  • Arrange catering and logistical support for events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in field marketing or event planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
