  • Works closely with the marketing team to create and implement strategic marketing plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinates with the design team to ensure effective design briefings and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintains proactive communication with various departments to ensure successful marketing plan execution.
  • Contributes to the formulation of annual marketing budgets.
  • Participates in key events to represent and promote 1517 Media resources.
  • Provides administrative support and assists with additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience, with consideration for recent graduates with relevant internships.
  • Experience in a mainline Protestant ministry setting is advantageous.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional writing skills that resonate with our audience, demonstrating an understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style is a plus.
  • Strong project management abilities with a keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Experience in producing video and audio content for various platforms.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management tools and project management software.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of theological concepts and congregational life within the ELCA or similar denominations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
