Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist & Office Ambassador plays a crucial role in managing local customer interactions and partner relationships. This position serves as the primary contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a welcoming environment in the Minneapolis region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive local marketing initiatives and events.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on various communication materials, including invitations and social media content.
  • Clearly convey project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate invitation distribution with the local sales team.
  • Maintain productive relationships with external vendors and venues.
  • Estimate resources and participants required for project success, while tracking expenses to ensure budget adherence.
  • Document all campaign and event details in designated internal systems.
  • Proactively manage project scope changes, identify potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and compile reports to assess project outcomes.
  • Promote the focus and objectives of People Driven Technology.
  • Build strong relationships with the local sales team and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular updates on field marketing activities to the Area Vice President and VP of Marketing.
  • Welcome visitors, clients, and employees, directing them to the appropriate personnel or meetings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of common areas, including reception and meeting rooms.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, including kitchen and conference room inventory.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Assist in organizing office events and meetings.
  • Provide logistical support for events, including catering arrangements and meeting room setups.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in field marketing or event planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
