Role OverviewThe Marketing Specialist & Office Ambassador plays a crucial role in managing local customer interactions and partner relationships. This position serves as the primary contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a welcoming environment in the Minneapolis region.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive local marketing initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on various communication materials, including invitations and social media content.
- Clearly convey project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Coordinate invitation distribution with the local sales team.
- Maintain productive relationships with external vendors and venues.
- Estimate resources and participants required for project success, while tracking expenses to ensure budget adherence.
- Document all campaign and event details in designated internal systems.
- Proactively manage project scope changes, identify potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and compile reports to assess project outcomes.
- Promote the focus and objectives of People Driven Technology.
- Build strong relationships with the local sales team and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide regular updates on field marketing activities to the Area Vice President and VP of Marketing.
- Welcome visitors, clients, and employees, directing them to the appropriate personnel or meetings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of common areas, including reception and meeting rooms.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, including kitchen and conference room inventory.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Assist in organizing office events and meetings.
- Provide logistical support for events, including catering arrangements and meeting room setups.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in field marketing or event planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
