Key Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant - Counseling & Resource Center will be tasked with:

  • Providing front desk reception and administrative support for the department.
  • Welcoming clients and staff members.
  • Coordinating physician appointment schedules.
  • Processing charges for services provided.
  • Ensuring follow-up on any outstanding charges.
  • Reviewing clinical documentation, managing filing, typing, and assisting with medical record maintenance.
  • Monitoring Managed Care Organization (MCO) clients.
  • Securing psychiatrist signatures and organizing psychiatric evaluations.
  • Retrieving physician charts as needed.
  • Managing supply orders, mail delivery, account verification, and registration processes, while covering various clerical tasks.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant - Counseling & Resource Center will possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to engage effectively with both internal stakeholders and external clients/patients.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the MS Office suite; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred.
